Alex Elmslie Career

In 2010, ImAllexx posted his first video on YouTube featuring himself and some of his classmates playing the video game “FIFA.”

Despite the low number of views, he kept up the posting of more gaming-related content. A few years later, in 2016, ImAllexx created a new YouTube channel where he began posting videos on a range of subjects, such as video games, commentary on prevailing online themes, and criticism.

ImAllexx’s videos didn’t get a lot of views at first, as would be expected for a relatively new and tiny YouTube channel. Despite this, he wasn’t put off because he thought his content was valued more at the time and wasn’t concerned about its seeming unpopularity, stating that “funnily enough, it felt more important when it was so small than it does now.”

ImAllexx didn’t have any expectations when he first started his YouTube journey because it was just a hobby. But as his channel gained popularity and his “video editing project” developed into a legitimate business, this all changed.

Not long after launching his YouTube channel, he started streaming on Twitch. He wanted to set himself apart from YouTube with his content on this platform. So it primarily focuses on video games. More than 300,000 people have watched ImAllexx’s videos on Twitch, where he plays games like “Among Us,” “Mario Bros.” and “FIFA.” The most popular video he has uploaded to the platform is called “Fraser is a clown,” in which he plays “Sims 2.”

Alex Elmslie Controversies

ImAllexx has always been very outspoken about his beliefs, criticizing several other content creators, internet celebrities, and YouTubers. As a result, he has drawn criticism for his videos in addition to praise. Let’s have a look at his popular controversies:

Paul Logan Suicide Forest Video

ImAllexx released a video titled “Logan Paul’s Apology” on his YouTube channel in January 2018. In it, he berates another YouTuber for sharing a video of a dead body he discovered while on vacation in Japan that year and calls Logan Paul’s public apology “incredibly disingenuous.”

The follow-up video “Defending Logan Paul” features clips of Logan’s supporters defending his behaviour. ImAllexx notes that Logan’s supporters have become blinded by their fervour and that Logan’s followers have adopted his mannerisms: “This all comes from the arrogance that Logan shows (for) being a spoiled, arrogant prick in every single video he’s made.” A fucking horrible person.

ImAllexx made fun of and criticised Logan Paul’s flat-earth beliefs in the video “We Need To Stop Logan Paul” posted in November of that year.

Slazo Scandal – KEEMSTAR Backlash

Early in 2018, Australian YouTuber Slazo’s ex-girlfriend Chey made a public accusation of sexual assault against him. The woman, who dated him for more than a year, acknowledged that Slazo was manipulative and that he “would often guilt or force” her into uncomfortable situations.

Many online users abandoned Slazo as a result of these accusations, and the backlash intensified when ImAllexx publicly endorsed Chey, shocking both Slazo and his subscribers because the two YouTubers were purportedly friends.

Slazo delayed responding to the accusations for a few weeks. This was before deciding to provide his side of the story in a video. It uploaded to his channel and provided proof that he was not responsible for the alleged sexual assault. He did, however, express regret for being a lousy boyfriend.

Slazo has gained the trust of other online content creators in addition to his subscribers, who accept his version of events. Despite this, ImAllexx declared in the open that he no longer wanted to connect to Slazo. It is because he thought his manipulative behaviours were bad enough to break their friendship.

Shortly after the controversy surfaced, YouTuber KEEMSTAR accused ImAllexx of orchestrating the fabricated rape claims against Slazo in a Tweet. ImAllexx was deliberately attempting to incite people against Slazo, according to the caption KEEMSTAR added to this tweet. It showed a dialogue between ImAllexx, Chey, and an unidentified user. “Look, I think we need to try to get it out soon”. I’m in favour of whatever it takes to ensure that he is unable to carry on.”

ImAllexx then encountered a widespread backlash online, which quickly caused his YouTube growth to stall. He did not, however, offer Slazo an apology for what he had done.
